Dr. Parmendra Kumar Mishra began his academic journey in a vernacular school in a small village in Darbhanga. His early academic excellence earned him the distinction of being the college topper in the Intermediate of Arts, which paved the way for his admission to Zakir Husain Delhi College (Evening), University of Delhi, where he pursued English (Hons.). During this period, he developed a deep interest in language learning and teaching, exploring its complex and illuminating dimensions.
Driven by his passion for linguistics and English Language Teaching, Dr. Mishra went on to secure a top rank during his Master’s degree in English.
After completing his M.A., he joined Hansraj College (Centre for Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board) as a Guest Faculty, where he taught from 2010 to 2013. He actively contributed to co-curricular development by organizing debate competitions, extempore sessions, essay writing, and slogan writing competitions. During this tenure, he also taught Communication Skills at the Equal Opportunity Cell of the University of Delhi, working closely with differently-abled students.

He received professional training from American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages, enhancing his expertise in language pedagogy and classroom practices. His interaction with internationally renowned educators significantly shaped his teaching philosophy.
After returning to India in 2014, Dr. Mishra rejoined Hansraj College as a Guest Faculty and continued for two more years. During this time, he also taught Business Communication and Technical English at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College for Women, Ram Lal Anand College, Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, and at the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, New Delhi.
